Having been installed in 2012, our Belgotex, Greenfields Artificial Turf is the Hockey Farm's flagship facility. Our turf is water based and is built to FIH specifications. It has a large roofed team dug-out and tech-table area and has lighting for night time activities. The turf is busiest, during hockey season, week nights, most Saturday afternoons and some Sundays.

Our Indoor Centre has been around since 2014 and houses a full size Indoor Hockey Court. Affectionately known to the local PSi team (The Mpumalanga Mambas) as the "Snake-pit", the court is fully lit and has openable sides walls which allows in the wonderful country atmosphere. The playing surface is concrete coated with an epoxy layer. It is a fast surface.

The Paddocks are the latest addition to our family of facilities. These 20 by 40 meter courts will be multi-sport courts, intially offering INDOOR HOCKEY, 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL and netball. The court surface has been custom made by Lokfloor and are fast and smooth. The courts are fully enclosed on the sides but are open air.

The Hockey Farm has two grass fields that have been installed right from the very start of The Farm. These two fields are affectionately known as the Miellie Field and the Potato Field. The Miellie Field has lights for night practices and events.

Separating the wheat from the chaff... this cross country trial is tough and challenging. The different paths around the property and surrounds can be configured to a combined 5kms in total. This track is on the Mpumalanga Provincial Cross Country Calendar and is a firm favorite. The route is scenic and travels along the banks of the Olifants River for much of it. The abundant bird life and plentiful highveld flowers make this trail popular for walkers as well.
